Our senators and gov. are slow, short sighted and narrow minded.
A company like Cessna would have been a fine fit for that facility - or a good portion of it.
But, oh wait... they went over seas.report abuse

Unfortunately, SMCC's general education classes are strickly for those who have not received a comprehensive education at their local high school. SMCC presently teaches a 8th grade level math class and currently educates on a scale for all students who are flunking in College level science and math courses. I was a student at SMCC and SMVTI and found their instructors to be lacking over all.report abuseIP Freely

I'd also like to know when they will actually open the facility, and not when they expect to reach capacity.report abuseAuditor

No you were not overly critical. Critical questions need to asked and given real answers. I'm not familiar with the UNH situation.
There should also be a review of the usefulness of UM sites in both Bath and Brunswick if the region has a large loss of population with the base closure.
We cannot continue to support the burden of large physical plant for education in the world of internet video conferencing and use of cable public channels to provide new points of access for education.report abuse
