I find the last statement in the article kind of pricks my curiosity. If Arbo and the child were living in the same apartment, does that mean he had some connection to the child's mother? If so, what? Not necessarily suggesting the charges are inaccurate, but I do admit to being just a little curious.report abusePaper Reader

reader of Portland-Boston, the state lines do not deliminate where criminals are or are not. The difference is that here in Maine, we catch more of them per capita because we are more diligent. That's what changes when you cross state lines. I suspect you know this and are just trolling for an argument, that seems to be your M O, but I thought I would clarify for those who may otherwise be duped by your statement.report abuseJack

The words "sex offender" sells papers. Plus, the sexual boundary lines of our society are so loose and liberal there's no exciting place left to go but kids and animals. Look out for Fido.report abusereader

If Maine was a state of 15-25 million residents, one could almost say its a 'normal' number of these crimes. But Maine only has less than 1.5 million people.
Shamefull, shameful Maine. Stay away from my kids.report abuse
