I think it was nice of the governor to extend his help. This gesture restores my faith in state government.report abuseKevin James

I'm glad to hear the State will be helping out these workers and the boatyard. Just last week, someone I know conned the welfare system and is now collecting a fat retro check $12,000!!! and a monthly check, when he's perfectly able to work.

Can someone tell me why the state has to bail out these workers? Didn't the owner have insurance? Any union contract? Anything? Maybe I just didn't read enough, didn't have enough time.report abuseYou must be a registered user of MaineToday.com to post a comment. Register or log in.
