As for evening commute tie-ups, why would there be problems if construction ends at 3 pm? Wouldn't it just be normal traffic by 4-5 pm?report abuse

I took the Arterial this morning (force of habit, I forget about the construction until it was too late). It wasn't too bad except for one problem - the light right before 295 (Marginal Way I think?) is where most of the congestion is, and this is because any traffic trying to turn left onto Marginal Way holds up the entire line of traffic behind them once the arrow goes red (even though the people who want to go straight onto 295 have a green arrow). That seemed to be the big problem.
