The bad news; houses may slide into the river or what's left of it. The good news; the fish like structure or so I've been told. It sure is purty looking up river. Will property values decrease or is it to late now that the revaluation is complete?report abuse

I can sympathize with having the ground shift because of a water level change. Here on Sebago Lake the lake level average was increased by the State so cigarette boats of the Sebago lake Boating club(GREEDY MARINAS) could boat up every shallow cove and stream all summer and SD Warren could make more hydro money. Higher water and waves caused bluffs to slide lakeward, structures were undermined and the finest inland state beaches were ruined. Tax payers spent 3/4 million dollars to protect Rt 35 from undermining and collapse. If it had been to improve the fish then so be it but it only hurt the indigenous fish and helped the introduced ones.report abuse

i will say it again,it has nothing to do with fish or any other thing.a business can not be expected to run when it is losing money that is why the dam was torn down.if the dam made money it would still be there today.

Smaller body of water will reduce the evaporation which causes more greenhouse gas, Water vapor also know as clouds. (86% of all greenhouse gases)
Now, if we can do something about gravity.report abuse
