Even if they get there act together- therapy, counseling, a job they will never get their kids back. Instead they will be court ordered to pay child support which is to be taken from their paycheck each payday. But - you see it can be court ordered but the state drags its feet for 5 years and then demands full payment of what was ordered 5 years ago.

History repeats - same thing happened almost 20 years ago but in Sanford and no the mom wasn't a druggie. The thing is the cops only took pictures of the 'messy' areas(kids bedrooms, and clean unfolded laundry on the couch) and a burn mark not of whole rooms. Also the parents were never arrested just delivered paperwork telling them to report to court to answer to the charge of child endangerment. The 'arrest report' and 'offense report' didn't come to light until then and on days that the family was out of town. Must be that once again CPS is back to work looking for kids to adopt out children.report abuse

I didn't see it in the article, are they illegals? What is wrong with people? How can you live that way. Unfortunately it is always the kids that suffer. They don't deserve to have kids ever.report abuse

This article didn't say, but in keeping with the whole pattern of things, is mom probably pregnant too? (wouldn't surprise me...also it isn't a stretch to think that the taxpayers are supporting them, eh?)THIS JUST DISGUSTS ME!!!report abuse

Fred,

Please. When repeated phone calls and pictures are sent to DHHS of a 10 year old packing a bowl full of pot for his parents are ignored, you expect anyone to believe DHHS are hard working?
