I'm all for global warming. Let's speed it up. Anything to minimize the ridiculous amount it's going to cost to heat my house this winter.report abusenognoggin

People are just barely squeaking by now with fuel prices and everything else. CMP bills going unpaid and other shortcomings. We don't need a bunch of environmental schizophrenics costing us even more money for their warped ideas.report abusejfromjay

"You can start in N. Europe which has surpassed the KYOTO gas limits for the past decade....still gets warmer.....something isn't working with these antropogenic theories...WHY. "
Global greenhouse gas emissions and atmospheric concentrations have increased every year and decade since the 19th centrury. Because the atmosphere is well mixed, *global* warming is a *global* problem. Unless *global* GHG emissions are reduced *global* mean temperatures will increase - especially at higher latitudes.
Furthermore, there is no peer reviewed scientific evidence that the Earth's recent warming trend is due to natural climate forcings. None - and in the real world of real climate scientists, there is virtually no "skeptism" on the role of human activity on cliimate.
jdtex:
You have your republican fairy tales mixed up. It was a Newsweek - not a Time - article that claimed in 1975 that the Earth was entering a period of cooling. Unfortunately, there were NO climate scientists at that time that claimed or published anything remotely like that. It is a right wing myth. You cannot produce one peer reviewed scientific paper from the 1970's that makes that claim.
