The injured track official did in fact return to the track following the accident but it was not to work, it was to pick up his personal belongings that were left behind when he was taken to the hospital. His injuries were serious enough to lay him up for a bit. He broke his arm into his wrist and two broken bones in his foot, he had a small laceration to his chin that was stapled shut and is healing nicley, and a swollen jaw that is tender but not broken. He would like to give huge thanks to all that attended to him that day. Everyone was very helpful and prompt in our time of need. It was a very scarey situation not knowing the extent of his injuries and he was well taken care of. He and I would also like to thank the Richmond fire department for the care and communication that was needed. It was an unfortunate misshap and was at no fault of anyone. We look foward to returning to Richmond Karting in two weeks for the next schedualed race.report abuseYou must be a registered user of MaineToday.com to post a comment. Register or log in.
