Why do they have deputy police chiefs if they don't want to select the Police Chief from that pool? Also, why pay these police officers deputy pay if they don't want the chief job. Pass them over and only promote to deputy, officers that what to be the chief and then the city can select thier new chief locally rather than spending money on these nationwide searches.report abuseTheKidAgain
