Since you live in Bangor, were you able to verify the low price?
Anyhow, I'll be watching the corrections section in the Sunday Sentinel.
On the other hand, maybe I should have gone to Bangor today.report abuse

Good question, Justin. Maybe someone might be scraping a little egg off their fact tomorrow morning.

Irving Oil dealers just had a meeting in Canada this past week and they are projecting that the barrel is estimated to drop to $70 this fall. Obviously we know that this is election time so everyone wait out the pre-buy of oil until then and let's keep our fingers crossed that this will happen. Oil dealers make are making the biggest profits ever right now! The thing that I would like people to realize and dealers need to get their thumb out of it desiel should be way cheaper then gas because it doesn't have to go through so much processing as gas does. Unless you have a family member that is a trucker you wouldn't have a clue, but think about this... their fuel is higher, which means higher frieght charges and fuel surcharges which means higher cost of goods passed on to the buyer then higher to the consumer. If we want our economy to come back to at least everyone can afford to buy groceries weekly and their household items...one way we can help is to urge the price of desiel to go down to where it should be.report abusefrank whoknows

NOTHING MAKES ME MORE ANGRY THEN THIS...THE OIL IS DROPPING EVERY FREAKIN DAY!!! ITS DOWN FROM $150.00 A BARREL TO AS OF YESTERDAY $113.00...STATIONS/FUEL SUPPLIERS ARE ALL SO DANG QUICK TO RAISE THEIR PRICES, BUT THEY SURE COME DOWN A HELL OF A LOT SLOWER...I HEARD ON THE NEWS YESTERDAY, THERE IS NO REASON WHY THESE SUPPLIERS OF GAS/OIL CANNOT DROP THEIR PRICES A CONSIDERABLE MORE AMOUNT RIGHT NOW, BUT THEY ARE ALL MILKING IT AS LONG AS THEY CAN, WHILE THEY CAN CAUSE US MORONS ARE PUTTING UP AND ARE TOLERANT OF IT RIGHT NOW!!!!report abuseYou must be a registered user of MaineToday.com to post a comment.
