I don't understand how people who don't know a man can make statments against his character. This is a time of hardship for his family and instead of sending prayers people are making comments on what this man did in his life. I myself knew Shane and know he will be missed by his fellow classmates. I want to send my thoughts and prayers out to the family and let them know they had a wonderful son who will be missed.report abuse

I'm not here to argue in a situation like this. The MSOR doesn't say when he was convicted not like it matters in most cases.

I have spent 4 years in my college career with him and he seemed to be a unique individual. Upon getting to know him in classes he's a smart and classy individual. This is the first time I heard of this tragedy. As everyone has said my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. It's saddened that people would come on and spam in this time of tragedy.report abuse

I am well aware of the court system and I doubt you'd have a whole lot of insight considering your 'busybody' character.report abuse

I found it odd that a young man would do this, so I googled his name. He came up as SORA #5564.

I don't what people in Winslow think of child pornography, but most Mainers feel that it's a pretty serious offense.

Again, "Rick", he was tried and convicted in a court of law. I would be happy to explain the court system to you if you'd like.report abuse
