mainejeff....give me some examples of why it needs to be put out of it's misery....I for one with the take over of an expericinced developer and the removal of the founder could get behind it. I see your in San Diego...where are you registered to vote? God knows Oxford County could use the jobs and hope for opportunity, as well as the rest of Maine.report abusemainejeff

jp....I support the development of other casinos in Maine......but not this one. Nothing has been done right with this particular one......time to put it out of its misery and move on.report abusejp

mainejeff...when the racino initiative passed in 2003 it was regarded one of the worst pieces of referendum language ever written.....the legislature went in and changed all of the language that was deemed "not worthy" the result has been an overwhemling success in Bangor....even Dennis Bailey and his followers cannot deny that fact. If this referendum passes any language you may find distasteful, I am sure the legislature will as well, and change it. They committe is already on record saying it will. If you don't want to support the effort becuase you have a problew with casino's/racino's in genreal thats one thing, but don't let parts of the language scare you off, here today gone tommorrow.
