Congrats to Brent Libby, having 20 years experience somewhere doesn't mean you are the best for the job, Brent is well qualified and will do an excellent job, and will put in twice as many hours as the last chief for the same pay, Good luckreport abuseJack

However, clearly this is a case of them bringing in "their guy" who will play ball, know his place and not rock the boat. I hope Mr. Libby does well and is able to move on to a better opportunity as soon a possiblereport abuse

Over 50 applicants and none more qualified than Mr. Libby?? I wish him the best of luck, as he'll need it dealing with bonehead selectmen that don't want to hear any opinion other than the one they want you have. I'm sure Mr. Libby's credentials are also very good for such a young man.
