1. The workers will have the same options other laid off workers do. One wonders at the interest about their jobs by Republicans like CRD. When other workers are laid off because of foreign competition they are the first to say "Tough Luck".
2. The trash issue is stickier for the municipalities. Some will likely go to EcoMaine. Some may go to landfills in New Hampshire or other parts of Maine. Recycling will have to be stepped up. It will cost more to haul the trash further.
3. Biddeford will lose it's largest taxpayer. Hopefully the new development will replace the tax revenue lost.report abuse

Trash to burn is in high demand. It will go elsewhere (EcoMaine) to create energy.report abuse
