You'd think the phone companies would know where those phone lines were installed and that they could get these crooks. Somebody has to pay for these lines . .report abuseChris

The problem is the Governor and the legislature refuse to ban computer phone dialing in Maine, where scammers can use a computer to dial thousands of Maine phone numbers for a very low cost. When you pick up the phone there is only the computer on the line. In other states they have outlawed that practice, except for certain political and non-profit phone solicitations.report abuseBole
