JAZZ...the OBAMA energy policy--at least what I heard of it last night, is a 'carbon copy'(no pun intended) of the current BUSH ENERGY policy.
Sounded like someone speech writer googled it from the USDOE site, and plagerized bits about clean coal technology and nuclear power.
No wonder people in the stadium boo'ed.

Look no further than these two Republican Senators who have backed the Bush/Cheney energy policy. Look at the price of oil here and the fact that the likes of Bush/Cheney favorite oil company, (EXXON) has earned $1,500.00 every second during the past year. Their greed has caused countless millions to lose their homes, suffer the effects of cold weather and loss of their incomes. Hopefully with an elected Democrat president, Senate majority and Congress we will regain control of our country!report abuseJack Hurd

To begin with, if you’re looking for a commie, or bleeding heart liberal, look no further than Allen, Baldacci, or Michaud!!!!!!!!!!!!
The real story is that the town is looking to take back the dam; the mill is dead, but just happened to be part of the package.
Canadian Brookfield Power made it very clear to Millinocket, threatening to shut down East Millinocket if they made waves.
The real giggle factor here is that Brookfield told Millinocket is that if “you” make a stink about this, we will shut down East Millinocket~
Why would Millinocket care about East Millinocket, they hate each other!
Why after being lied to by Brookfield Power year after year, would anyone trust them now?
What’s worse than lying to “The People” ~ the beating your going to get when a bunch of out of Union guys that suddenly realize that they have been made a fool of!
And what Millinocket Town Councilor was so criminally inept to give a bunch of hockey rink rejects a TIFF that continues, even after they close their doors?
