How can homeless people afford to smoke?

I'm still stuck on the fact that you can purchase coffee with food stamps but that is another article.report abuse

Giant schtit storm coming from this one. How can you keep welfare peoples from smoking? Not possible. that like trying to get people from Westbrook to stop swilling Allen's coffee brandy by the gallon. Smoking and welfare go together like homeless and cardboard. Just cannot seperate. Who regulate anyway? this one laugher.report abuse

Yes, it's about time to cut out smoking in government housing. Aside from the fire hazard to other persons, it is a health hazard to the smoker.report abuse

Yea, those homeless are second class citizens, they really don't have any claim to that apartment, they are beholden to the master who provides it who knows what is good for them. Moral, don't get beholden to the liberal masters, control your own life if at all possible. And for those in apartments, you are next, your life seeps into the neighboring apartments so be ready for regulations of your life. Shortly after the smoking ban will be regs on what you eat, drink and drive.report abuse
