the one real story is that they are running around like pack rats, they lost all their leather minds to street know it alls, the product is not thier anymore, the quality is really gone down hill, china come on in, and the cost of shutting down the chemical soaked ground, EPA is going to have a ball with the land removal, and the millions it going to cost to clean it up, good luck selling itreport abuseHARRY

Cynic, you are very right. It is only a matter of time this company will make all of its leather products in China. Maine leather workers better start to retrain now. Hartland you will be on the Mill shut down bulls eye next year. The Chinese bought the company to gain a foot hold in the American market and to gain expertise in making fine leather. Mainers its all over but the pink slips in Hartland next year.report abuseSoup Home

"On March 31, Prime announced it would merge with Shanghai Richina Leather Co. Ltd. to form Prime Leather International. This transaction is still expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year."
