Everything in our lives has been created by artists. Our homes (architects), computers (industrial designers, our cars, all the appliances we use, our clothing (fashion designers), furniture, food packaging, books, magazines,(graphic designers) all of it. It all passes through the hands of an artist.
Artists are very important to our society. And it's the first thing we take away when budgets are cut in our schools.report abuse

I am not sure why some people think this is a waste. The arts are so important.

What a great idea. This State needs more funding for the arts. With school budgets being cut everywhere, the arts are the first thing to go. It's sad.report abuseROCKY2
