Hey Zippy here's another slap in the face for the residents..... Mr. Kobrock removed measures to prevent a theft like this just 2 weeks before Mrs. Coty began her "new" career. His words when removing them "this is what's best for the city". Suppose the mayor and council have investigated the Manager's actions that allowed for this to happen.... I think not!!!! I say it took 6 years to take the money should take the same amount of time plus interest for a fair punishment. Speaking of interest will Coty be paying any?????report abuse

It really bothers me that the "State" is agreeing with this theif's attorney to go along with a sentence cap of 9 months.

This is a slap in the face to the residents of Gardiner.

Common criminals that break and enter or steal cigs and beer get 9 months or more.

She stole hundreds of thousands in taxpayer funds. This was pre-meditated organized crime.

Ever wonder why you keep reading about this type of theft every year in different cities and towns (e.g. Manchester)? The punishment does not fit the crime. These people get off easy every time.

She put up property for the bail money, but where did she come up with the $100,000.00 in restitution that she has already paid back?

I beleive that she embezelled one hell of a lot more than $195.000.00

Crime does pay.report abuse
