I was all set to go out of my party lines and vote as I always have for Susan Collins until I saw the little blurb about her sharing her views about Jonathan Edwards marriage problems. I definitely think Maine deserves someone who can be trusted to stick to business, and not nitpick the hardship of others...when it really has no bearing on her statis as a senator. I have changed my mind. FM.report abuse

Bush tried to zero out critical 1st responder funding but Senator Collins, working on behalf of firefighters and police officers, got the funding restored. Get your facts straight before commenting about something you know little - if anything - about. Collins is an orignal co-sponsor of the legislation that will make collective bargaining the law of the land for professional 1st responders and, as co-chair of the Fire Services Caucus, she has helped Maine receive millions of dollars in funding - including money for a new fireboat in Portland harbor, a port that off loads more petrochemicals than nearly every other one on the east coast. Hell yes they endorsed her - she gets it done for 1st responders and those they protectreport abuse

They should all be ashamed of themselves, Bush administration eliminated all funding for the 100000 police officers Clinton put on the street. Firemen got more from the democrats then they ever got for suzieQreport abuse
