It's your Liberal Legislature who makes the laws.The judge has no choice but to adhere to these laws. Ream out your legislator and tell them you want tougher laws passed or they will be sitting home after their term is through. They don't want to get their constituancy angry by saying we need to raise taxes to fund new prisons. It's your choice as a voter. Mail, e-mail and phone calls will get their attention-they work for you and don't let them forget it for a minute!!report abusecarrie leighton

Ok, here's the real scoop. He gets a few years in jail. Then gets out and gets to file for State of Maine - Mainecare disability. THEN he will be also now qualified for "Special schooling" As her "guardian" or father -- He will also get payments fromt he lovely state to help him take care of her. Oh yea, I forgot the foodstamps. He'll get those too. Let's see what happens. Anyone gonna keep tabs on him between now and then??? doubt it.. He will be lost in the process.
