You might want to go back and re-read your social studies book on how a bill becomes a law - laws come from Congress, not the President. YES, Bush did sign the NCLB act, but it was a good 'ol democrat (Ted Kennedy) who wrote NCLB in the first place. I am NOT a Bush fan, but wish people would start putting some blame on the democrats, too, for NCLB.report abuse

I checked out the scores and I found the list extremely easy to read. It took very little time and effort to notice that Cony High School has failed again for the 4th time. No surprise here.report abusenotyou

Robert, If you had a decent education from almost anywhere outside the state of Maine you might be able to read it, or even better, translate its meaning. Maine's educational system is a joke, and that is why this state is just a retirement community to the well educated and wealthy that were not raised or educated here. Wasn't the NCLB act a Bush administration creation? Wasn't it the cornerstone of his first term domestic policy? How is it the liberals' fault that you can't read the report?
