Westbrook Fugitive Busts Continue
Westbrook Police say they tracked down 25 people on their list of 300 fugitives in and around the city. The crack down on outstanding warrants was assisted by the U.S. Marshal's Office, who gave the Westbrook Police Department a grant to get some of their most wanted criminals off the street.
17 people were arrested in the crack down, 2 people turned themselves in, 6 were found already locked up in jail and 2 others were found to be deceased.
Westbrook P.D. will team up with WGME News 13 on Monday for an edition of the Fugitive Files to bring down some of the others, they didn't catch in the busts. Tune into the Fugitive Files beginning on News 13 Live at Five on Monday September 15th.
