They should be allowed to play. There will be other punishments in place and I think the school system is there to educate kids not get involved in judicial matters. UNLESS the infractions happened at the schools. What the heck do you think they will spend there time doing when they are longer participating in healthy activities. Quitting sports is one of the first signs of trouble anyway. Why escalate them farther down a bad path?report abuseCory

innocent until proven guilty, or an admission of guilt. That said, how many football teams have players who have spent time in juvee?, been arrested? Got caught doing criminal speeding? Unfortunately kids will be kids, If they are actually in school, they should be able to participatereport abusebugize

Instead of announcing the starting line up for the next football game, announce the kids who stole and have them walk to the center of the field. Come forward and be recognized.report abuse

And to think that if a football player gets caught smoking a cigarette right now, they will be suspended from the football team. These fools victimized all these supporting people in Winslow and still get to start. Granted it was a few weeks before school, but something needs to be done.
