I think it would be great to get a casino. It'll bring jobs to the state. Not to mention, there isn't a whole lot to do here. Maybe more people would stay in the state if there were actually cool things here. Plus casino's are a blast!!report abuse

the business community is against this because if passed the casino will pay a living wage they don't want to compete against. I mean god forbid prosperity show it's face in Mainereport abuse

Make it legal for a casino or two to operate in this state. Southern and maybe eastern Maine. Then open the bidding up for a multi million dollar license as they do in other states. Renewable in 10 years for more millions and, of course, still take a nice share of the profits. This idea is not going away unless we let them in or New Hampshire or Northern Mass opens up to casinos. Then it's too late for Maine. Life the way the bunny huggers think it should be.report abuse
