Foxwoods just gave 700 employees pink slips, after 200 others a few months ago. They have 11,000 employees. Onlt 110 miles from NYC and Boston, with bus connection to Amtrak.
Cleaning room and making beds is not a high paying job. How many does Hollywood Slots have?
Dealers make good money. When they move to Maine, that will help Real Estate sales.
I hope your Casino is approved. I have heard all the same stuff about the Casino around here.
A few years ago, when gasoline was high, Foxwood ran buses, gave away chip and food vouchers.
The Homeless took the bus, sold the vouchers and had a warm place to sleep.report abuse

So the location is secret. I bet they have already made the deal or have an option.
The Turnpike and Rt 122 will be the closest exit. Auburn could provide the lower paid jobs with 12 passanger vans. Has anyone bought an older motel in the Oxford area? Where are the major power lines? Any airports that can handle private jets?
Most of the construction jobs will go the out of Staters.report abuse
