God is very perplexed. He/she is crying "What do I have to do to make you American idiots sane. Your polluting my oceans with your oil, slashing my rain forests to grow ethanol, raping my woodlands for pellets, damming my free flowing river habitats for hydro, killing my atmosphere with carbon dioxide and other toxic energy by-products, not to mention carving the beautiful landscape with your bird killing wind turbines. I gave you the miracle of energy generation with clean, safe, eco-friendly nuclear reactions 60 years ago and you ignored it. Japan and Europe didn't ignore it.. nor india or China.. Canada cooperated as did Russia and 17 more civilized countries. How big a 2x4 do I need to swing before you wake up? It took seven plagues to convince the Pharaoh the error of his ways. Canadians can store Nuke waste in our backyard but threaten intervention if we build a LNG dock too close to them

If we relied on Wind and Solar power like the libs want, we'd need to erect windmills and solar panels everywhere to generate enough power to feed the machine.
A few nuclear power plants would provide all the power we need. But it's the Dems again, who are against this.
Even the frickin' french have been building Nuke plants left and right for cheap, reliable, clean power and USA can't get it done.
We deserve whatever happens. You say you don't want 'dependence on foreign oil'? then build the plants and let us have energy.report abuse

If Canada didn't rely on the United States for protection, they could take their nuclear waste and turn it into weapons grade material thus, recycling it. Green atomic energy!! But alas, Canada is proud not to deploy nukes (cause of big brother, USA being so close and all..) and they now have issues with storage.
