His issue was that Alaskan were only given a Yes No vote on Statehood. Not included were Independence and Commonwealth status.
The party is is legal and has about 6% of the vote.
I hope everyone gives him a warm welcome.
At least the rest of the USA will learn where Maine is. That is if it makes the National News.

News flash...the First Amendment (remember that one?) protects our speech...so tell Todd to stay home, or tell us how you're going to join all the other Joe Six Packs in Palmyra. Freedom of speech - rip it up - call each other names, call Todd and Sarah names. I'll defend your right to tell each other to shut up and go home...even though it makes you look incredibly stupid. What gives Maine a "bad name" is anyone who doesn't understand the First Amendment and the right to state our opinions...no matter how disparate they are from yours.report abusecitizen

Compared to how his wife has been behaving on the campaign trail, the postings here are quite tame.report abuseThe Craz

Hey READER why don't YOU run for office so we can see who you are, and then we can run off at the mouth and print all this garbage about YOU. You are pathetic and you give Maine a bad name. Why don't you keep your postings to your own State of residence.report abuseYou must be a registered user of MaineToday.com to post a comment. Register or log in.
