If they must have them in Maine, then find one or two locations with plenty of room and far from as many homes as possible, and stick them all there, compensating the few homeowners in the area for the imposition!report abuse

There's so much wasteland in fly over country--why doesn't the federal government do a modern version of the Tenessee Valley Authority project, and put all these infernal, usightly, and noisy windmills in one location, so no one has to worry about his property value going down because one or more of these things suddenly spring up nearby.
