Apparently, the drug bust of these "COLLEGE MAROONS", was the straw that broke the camel's back! It also seems apparent that this Fraternity(at campus level only ) not at the national frat level mind you, that, others in the fraternity, other than the 9 that were involved, knew that this was going on, and did, nor said anything about it! Therefor, the punishment meted out to the individuals and to the frat on campus as a whole is totally and completely justified. For the straight ones in this frat, if you have the need or want to be in a fraternity, it is time to join another that will have you! What were these "MAROONS" majoring in? Evidetntly, they were majoring in illegal drug and substance cultivation, distribution and abuse! What a waste of nine young lives and minds! They have made their parents really proud of them now, huh! Well, they will now face and be educated in the reality of the real world. Hey, maroons! "WELCOME TO REALITY AND TO THE REAL WORLD"! Illegal drugs have no place on a college campus or anywhere for that matter! All alcohol and it's consumption should also be banned from all college grounds and campuses everywhere! Cudos and a job well done to the DEA, police and college authorities! Keep up the good work and I hope that this be a "WARNING" to others everywhere, that may be doing or contemplating this type of activity. You see, this type of activity and behavior is for "LOSERS ONLY"! A very exclusive club!report abusej t

Sounds like this group fosters an uncooperative, unproductive and unhealthy atmosphere, year after year. Time to break them up and move them on.report abuse679pete

The issue here is not whether we broke a few rules or took a few liberties with our female party guests-we did. But you can't hold a whole fraternity responsible for the behavior of a few sick, perverted individuals. For if you do, then shouldn't we blame the whole fraternity system? And if the whole fraternity system is guilty, then isn't this an indictment of our educational institutions in general? I put it to you-isn't this an indictment of our entire American society? Well, you can do what you want to us, but we're not going to sit here and listen to you bad-mouth the United states of America!
