It sounds like the School Department and the School Committee needs to meet on a regular basis to discuss finances. It's hard to understand why this department is consistently operating with a deficit.

Of course there will be much hand wringing over how any cuts will hurt the students in the classrooms. How about cutting some of the administrative overhead and leave the teachers to do their jobs?report abuseFunny Guy
