My mother had what they call preciptious labor. She was in labor no more than 1.5 hours with any of us. I barely made it to the hospital; my sister was born in the front seat of the family car in our driveway on New Years Day. My mom felt her water break, and 15 minutes later, there was my sister; had enough time to grab her jacket and get to the car. The only reason my other sister & my brother were born in the hospital was because my mom had complications & was already there. None of us were full term, either. We were all born about 33-36 weeks.

Congrats to Jessie & Matt! They will have a great story to tell their litter one when he gets older.report abuse
