LIEberman votes with the Republicans. He campaigns for McCain.
That makes it a 50-50 tie.

The Democrats ARE NOT "in control" of the Senate.
It's 49-49 with two Independents, Bernie Sanders and Joe LIEberman.
LIEberman votes with the Republicans. He campaigns for McCain.
That makes it a 50-50 tie.

You state that a poll is scientific by asking what party you are affiliated with. How about this, poll ONLY registered republican voters and check your results, then poll ONLY registered democrats and check those results. Now unless the poll is totally UNBIASED and the only question being who will you vote for and none others with a computer drawing random numbers out of a book ANY result can be altered by those who are conducting the poll. We all know how biased the alphabet channels are. I put no stock in their polls.
As I have been stating all along I really dont like either candidate. BUT if I have to chose (and I do) I am left with no choice but to vote for McCain. First reason--you cant sit in a church for 20+ years and not hear the hate your pastor is spewing and say it was taken out of context. Have a known relationship with a person who is a domestic terrorist when sworn to protect this country against enemies both forgein and domestic. Refuse to put your hand over your heart during the national anthem or pledge of allegence. To refuse to allow for oil exploration when over 3 million (my last count and that was a long time ago) Americans signed a petition to DRILL HERE, DRILL NOW AND PAY LESS (Hannity's website). Or do you enjoy $4 a gallon gas.
I have also read posts here about how the oil companies are making so much money. Before you beat your gums do the research. I did, most businesses couldnt stay in business on the oil companies profit margin (if i remember correctly its 10% or less).
Now onto Iraq---If we follow the Obama/Biden plan of cut and run and be out of Iraq in 16 months Sept. 11th will only be the beginning of much worse things to come.
As far as taxes go I believe in a flat tax system. Everyone pays. If you want government assistance you better believe you are gonna work for it. End the handouts and pork-barrel spending and see what happens to the economy then.report abuse

Why anyone is voting for Obama is beyond me!!! No, things haven't been great with the economy but look who is in control of the house and congress--THE DEMOCRATS!!!!!
