If you're worried now, just wait till OBummer starts spreading the welfare around, to other states. Maine will have to compete for once and as the country crumbles may very well lose it's status as the number two welfare state (behind Louisiana which has natural disasters and even more lazier people than we do but at least does not have an Augusta.)report abuse

The other 29% are probably the ones who either are very frugal and able to create something usuable out of that which others would cast off, and will live within their means...or maybe they just don't know how bleak the situation could get if they aren't careful. I'm hoping it's the first choice.report abuse

Well, I'm not concerned. Too me this has been a blessing. Gas now close to 2.60/gal, oil at 2.35/gas, and stocks at a price I can buy.

Warren Buffett recently had an article in one of the major papers (NY times?) where he stated that when the markets are greedy, be fearful, and when the markets are fearful, be greedy. I decided to take his advise.report abuse
