By the way, Gerald, Allen didn't vote on Sam Alito. House members don't vote. He says he would have voted against him if he had the chance, but when he was asked on WGAN radio, he wouldn't say how he would have voted on John Roberts! I can only assume that's because Tom Allen actually supports John Roberts.report abuse

Oh please. Allen and his friends have been "attacking" Susan Collins for more than a year and a half. I say good for her. The truth is Tom Allen has never taken his job seriously. The people of Maine pay him to VOTE. That's his job. If I didn't show up for work, I'd be fired.report abuse

Thanks - I was on a roll there, and should have been more careful. Collins also voted to confirm other anti-choice judges like Bill Pryor and Priscilla Owen.
And yet she says that she supports a woman's right to choose. She does say that.

I'd be concerned about that but I'm not a one issue voter. And abortion is not the only issue and not my top concern. Its the 67% vs 98% voting the party line I'm concerned about.report abuse
