The Maine media has failed to report who are the principals in the Olympia Group, which is backing Question 2. The Olympia Group seems to be based in Scottsdale, Arizona. For example on one profile of Olympia principal and Vice President, Guy Inzalaco, he is reported to be connected with Congressman Rick Renzi (R-Arizona). Renzi is facing pending federal charges for his involvement in a land-swap deal. See: http://pipl.com/directory/people/Guy/Inzalaco

Olympia Gaming, LLC, is the development division of the Olympia Group and Dean Harrold is Vice Chairman of the Olympia Gaming. However so far the Maine media has shown no interest in identifying the Chairman and President of Olympia Gaming, LLC. Dean Harrold was hired in 2006 after Olympia Group principal Guy Inzalaco was identified as an investor in the land swap deal on which Congressman Rick Renzi was being investigated.

Olympia Gaming, LLC, in turn controls Olympia Gaming Maine, LLC, and they hold a 75% stake in Evergreen Mountain Enterprises, LLC. Dean Harrold has declared he is the President of Evergreen Mountain Enterprises, LLC. If Question 2 passes Evergreen Mountain Enterprises, LLC, will become the “exclusive gambling facility in the state.” Dean Harrold claims Olympia Group doesn't want that status.report abuse

PS: Garry V. Goett is Chairman, CEO & President of "Olympia Group/Olympia Gaming". Also Guy Inzalaco is Principal & Executive Vice President of "Olympia Group/Olympia Gaming". If you haven't heard about them, you had better vote NO on QUESTION 2. Link: http://www.olympiagroupcompanies.com/about/olympia-group-team.phpreport abuse
