last i checked battered wife syndrome is not a valid defense to murder. if she left him because he was abusive wouldnt it make sense for her to have a protection order and a police presence when she went to retrieve her things? unless she feared for her life popping a cap in someone is not appropriate. even if he was gonna smack her face in a little-- its still going overboard to shoot someone.report abuseYou must be a registered user of MaineToday.com to post a comment.
