Immediately following the press conference The Already Bald One and his new sidekick Ryan Rob Lowe will climb into a state police SUV driven by Detective Trask! They will cruise down the interstate to the Jetport and take a plane to DC where they will beg Barney Frank for $500 million! Frank will give them 500 mill if they have drinks with him and Chris Dodd at Frank's secret hideaway in DC. They WILL BE TOLD THAT THE BASEMENT WINK WINK IS OFF LIMITS AS FRANK'S TROUBLED 18 year old nephew lives down there. (Yeah right) They will be asked to pass the wide stance test!report abuse

Bill Randall of Winthrop, ME: political parties be damned! What has Baldacci and that group of morons in the legislature done BUT raise taxes and threaten to curtail services? He and his ilk have slowly turned this into a welfare state, becoming involved in issues of the people. This, I believe, is a republic to be governed BY the people, NOT the state..left to themselves the people will do just fine..we do not need socialism telling us what is right and what we need!report abuse

Amazing to me that no matter what the Governor tries to do, he is a subject of criticism by the members of the Republican Party. He has, and is, responsibly trying to reduce taxes, and yet he is accused of being a "meathead" and other demeaning labels. Perhaps some of the readers who constantly criticize our Governor should do a little introspection. Yes, I know that is asking way too much of you.report abuse
