Hey Gov. Meatball: give back the $27 million you stole from retirement to keep Mainecare afloat. Because of your demands retirees are having to pay more out of pocket..why don't you retire?report abuseNight Hunter

The state will crawling with government workers once Obama gets in power. I fully anticipate Obama bailing out all the states! Once the Bush tax cuts are rolled back and we get out of Iraq (three years now if not sooner) then money will start to flow where it was flowing during the Clinton years. It stopped flowing when Bush took power. Hopefully, Obama will lead change on Left Behind and fund it unlike Bushwacker!report abuseNight Hunter

Dear Baldy: How much potential is being wasted at Loring Air Force base? How much potential is being wasted with all that vacant space at the SAPPI mill in Westbrook? We will see what comes out of the closing at Brunswick Naval Air Station? To me the mentality of the old guard protecting the trough is the problem with this state.report abuseYou must be a registered user of MaineToday.com to post a comment. Register or log in.
