Actually, Maine is ranked 2nd for the highest tax burden, not #1. Vermont is #1. I'm sure they would be upset if we tried to steal their spot. We're #2! We're #2!report abuse2cents4you

Baldacci is an idiot! He has put this state in the crapper! What advise can he possibly give Obama? We are the most over taxed state, the lowest paid state, and such a backwards state. Just like what the economy looks like now! So I ask again, What can possibly Baldacci say to Obama about how to make the economy better, if Baldacci has put this state in such a way that I've never seen.
