I'm glad you support Janet Mills. I do too, although I disagree with her on what would be the best way to elect the Attorney General (I think the AG should be directly elected by the people). The Legislature seems to have made a good choice this time though.report abuse

I owe you an apology, longpondloon. And I'm not just doing that because I accidently posted under my full name. You made a comment that I didn't like and I responded by dissing you and your region (I actually know some great people from that area). That was low and I appologize.

Don't need happy pills... I also think Rep. Mills is an excellent choice. Hope she moves on and becomes the first FEMALE Governor. I be very pleased to vote for her. She is far above and beyond any of the 'leaders' that have their eye on the seat. (male or female). Kevin you don't have to be in the same district 'with us people'(NW Kennebec). The bus leaves several times a day.report abuseKevin Lamoreau

Nobody said it was a headline story that a female Attorney General was nominated and will be elected tomorrow. One commenter posted, after praising Mills's experience, that he should she would be the first female Attorney General of Maine. A member of the Belgrade peanut gallery couldn't let that comment of an interesting milestone go on answered, and I used the opportunity to comment on how I have often read negative online comments (and some thoughtful ones as well I'll admit) from people from that area.report abuseYou must be a registered user of MaineToday.com to post a comment.
