I think Brunswick will do just fine after a short period of adjustment. I note that Pease AFB and FT. Devens both are doing well in the transition from military to civilian.

It is a very desirable place to live and work.

The larger economic issues could slow it down though too.report abuse

The commander (Lewis) was piloting the plane when it overshot the runway. Lewis was also the commanding officer of the unit. I guess the Navy didn't think he was a good example for the other pilots in his command.report abuse
