Want to say thanks to CMP, Tree Workers, Police, Fire, EMS, EMA, Shelters, and everyone else who helped out during the storm and power outages.

I also want to say shame on the rest of you who did nothing but complain and yell at all who are there to try and help.

If you were not prepared to live in Maine and be without power that is your own fault. Now that most of the crisis is over, maybe this is a good time for you to ask yourself, how else could I have been prepared to handle the emergency on my own if need be?

During the next outage, do you have back up heat? Do you have back up food, water, shelter? Have you made prior arrangements for a place for you and your animals to stay should this happen again?

Remember: It could be worse. You could be one of the unfortunate ones who lost their homes due to a fire. My thoughts and prayers go out to those people.report abuse
