Frankie of Windham, it's unfortunate that it got labled "Global warming" instead of "climate change." Some places get warmer, some colder; some more rain/snow, some less. The only question in my mind is, how much of the change is natural and cyclical, and how much is human-caused.

But of course, conservatives will jump all over ANY cold day and use it to deny climate change.

I remember when I was in grade school, we used to skate on the Stroudwater River in Westbrook on Thanksgiving afternoon; last time I checked, it didn't freeze over much at all during the winter.

Where I live now, we're having the warmest summers ever -- not just one or two hot days, but several degrees above the 140 year average, and not just one year but 5 or 6 in a row.

The climate IS changing. But to some people, "denial" may as well be a river in Egypt.report abuse
