My carrier has to be the laziest I've known in my life! He can barely deliver the correct mail let alone deliver if the area is not "perfect." What if he was on the ambulance crew and the stairs to a person in distress were not perfect? Hop back in the van and take off?report abuse

I totally agree to clear paths for mail carriers, and to clear around mailboxes, etc. BUT, the mail carrier , particularly those in vehicles could put forth a little effort to deliver the mail when we get dumped on like this last storm. It's a lot of work to clean up after the snow plows have buried them time after time.
