I know that in Portland if you check off the right boxes as to ethnic origin or disability it's almost a free ride. Throw in unwed mother of a mix race child and all the lights go own; I think you get a free car and a housing alowance as well. If we are talking the law school, women and minorities get special admission consideration in regard LSAT scores and undergrad transcript index. Gotta have that diversified leagal system. Not sure how many of these cases actually pass the bar but they do take up the space. law schools usually decline to offer the info on minority admissions vs those that pass the bar.report abuse

The article begs the question: are all these applicants qualified to attend college, and would they have been accepted if staff and facilities were sufficient?report abuse
