carefully done, the Swift river's energy can be harnessed over and over again to provide much less expensive and intrusive energy than a huge wind farm will.

Hydro, when available, always trumps wind in cost and 24/7 availability.

There are numerous hydro sites in the valley.

Same here, but then again we also have friends on the other 3,500 miles of coast that can chip in too!
