Television has turned into force fed properganda.....Right wing....Left wing ??? Makes no difference, it's whoever buys the time.
The internet is all about choice .....even the provider with cable, DSL or dial up. You'll be much better off if you read and use the net for all your info, entertainment needs!

Why bother with Television when you have everything at your finger tips with the internet?

Those of us who grew up on free tv are not amused. In an emergency a snowy signal is better than none. The nonsense that this move "frees up airwaves" is BS! It is all about money. The powers that be are seliing the airwaves we used to claim as our own. A lot more of us refuse to pay for tv than many would probably believe. Perhaps the lack of advertizing revenue will make a difference. If we can't see it, we can't be hypotized into buying their junk! They won't like that at all. Ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha! Revenge will be ours.report abuse

Finally some honesty on this issue. I've been writing for months every time the issue comes up to say distance from transmission effects ability to get a signal at all. Also as this article says, the lay of the land. Also weather conditions will more radically effect ability to get free tv signals any longer. One last point not mentioned in this article is that in my experience the expensive antennas are NOT better in many cases. Make sure you can return an antenna if you buy one.
