Portland spectacle verges on 'historic'
AUGUSTA -- Maine National Guard officials aren't really sure how many of their 1,100-1,200 soldiers who have been stationed overseas since the start of wars in Iraq and Afghanistan will show up for Portland's Heroes Parade this afternoon.
